With over thirty years of experience in woodworking, masonry, cabinetry, metalworking, and many more of the noble trades, BadgerBuilder is the brainchild of Charles "Chuck" Schifferdecker.
Known to his friends as "The Badger", Chuck has spent most of his life working as a handyman. He attended MassART for Art History before branching out on his own to explore the practical side of creation. The Badger taught himself blacksmithing, eventually becoming a professional at a living museum with thousands of curious tourists daily.
He has been running his own shop for over ten years.
Recently the whole crew was relocated to a beautiful, new -- and rather huge -- space in Manchester, NH, off of Elm St.
Chuck has been helming BadgerBuilder for many years alongside his business partner Konstantine Feigin and Helper / Apprentice / Shaggy-Dog-Storyteller Erik Creasey, the latter of which also makes many of the pieces you see here on this website.
